Busy Digger Civil & Rural is a family-owned and operated business based in Jarrahdale, serving Serpentine and the surrounding Perth Hills with close community ties. We specialise in earthworks, drainage, driveways, fencing and landscaping for lifestyle blocks, hobby farms, equestrian properties and larger farms.

Because we live and work on the same rocky, sloping country as our clients, we understand local ground conditions first-hand. We offer genuine advice on materials, water management and drainage — and we commit to a solution that actually works and will last.

It began with a slope, a shovel, and a two-year-old

Busy Digger was established when Tony and Michelle relocated to Jarrahdale in 2014 and found the (desperate) need for some gear to sort out the drainage and landscaping on a heavily sloping, and rocky, property.

The name came from their grandson George, who was then two years old and became completely obsessed with “Grandad’s digger.” What started as a way to tame one difficult block grew into a trusted local contracting business serving the whole region.

Today, Busy Digger runs a small fleet of trucks, excavators and bobcats with a range of implements for most applications — ready to take on jobs across Jarrahdale and the Peel.
